A Meadowlark Botanical Garden Summer Maternity Session

Winding trails, an abundance of blooms, and so much character! Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna feels like a secret oasis among the hustle and bustle in Northern Virginia. My gardening knowledge is incredibly limited so I wasn't sure what would be blooming in August. Turns out there were so many different flowers! Everything was lush and green making a beautiful space for maternity photos!

Nuha was just a few weeks away from welcoming her sweet baby boy when we had our session together. She was a vision in her beautiful blue dress and complimenting flower crown and cute baby bump! Our session was very casual - we walked and talked and stopped for photos at each spot that offered a pretty backdrop. Just when we thought we covered a lot of beautiful spots and were heading back to the visitors center, we reached the top of a hill that overlooked several gardens and the Meadowlark pond. This view created a soft backdrop for some epic photos! Just look at how gorgeous these two are in the last photo!
