Holiday Family Photos at Silver Lake in Haymarket, Virginia

Wanted to share a little family feature this week - look at how great the Young family looks for their family photos! We met the morning after Thanksgiving at Silver Lake.

With an overcast day, this photographer was very excited for the outcome. Why overcast you ask? The sun hidden behind clouds creates the perfect diffused light for natural light photos. While golden hour may not happen, your session is open to taking your photos in nearly any direction with any backdrop.

The Young family kiddos were a little apprehensive to take photos. It was a day off from school yet they still had to get up early. As time went on, these three became perfect subjects and even allowed me to capture sweet candid moments between them.
