Baby Jeffries | Spring Maternity Photos at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA
Call me biased but there are two perfect weeks for photos in Virginia - the week of peak fall foliage and the week of peak blossoms in the Spring. And you can not plan for either week because nature is in charge!
When mom reached out to schedule her maternity session, she was mindful of both her due date and what spring would bring. Fortunately, Meadowlark is beautiful all year so there would surely be something nice for their photos.
During our time together, we walked through Meadowlark taking in all the beautiful sights. Daffodils were blooming, little green leaves were starting to emerge on the branches, geese were waddling around the ponds - all the signs that a productive spring was on the way.
Meadowlark was bustling with guests - some on the Easter egg hunt, others attending private events - yet the best part, you can't tell from these photos. There's plenty of space to sprawl out in this tucked away oasis in Vienna, Virginia.
Toward the end of our time, we were all a tiny bit disappointed that there weren't more blooming trees for our photos. Fortunately for us there were several blossoming trees and a big open grassy area right next to the parking lot for a few quintessential Spring photos.
Baby Jeffries is one lucky little love with these two as Mom and Dad. Wishing this growing family all the love and happiness as they transition from two to three!
