Sweet and Simple Newborn Photos at Home | Centreville, Virginia

You may recognize this growing family from their gorgeous maternity photos earlier this summer. Well the time came for their new addition to make their grand entrance!

The McCabe family decided not to find out the gender of their new addition but rather find out when they were born. One of the few precious surprises you can have in this world! Personally, I was chomping at the bit to find out the gender of our babies.

I was so excited to receive the email from Katie saying their baby arrived - a boy! Baby BOY McCabe was finally here!

For their newborn photos, it was decided that most of them would be taken outside behind their home. There was a beautiful little pond with a gazebo, surrounded by lush green trees. The simplicity of the outdoors allows the focus to be on the family

I was greeted by the BIG sister who was showing her dinosaurs around outside. This sweet girl was very hesitant around me - totally understandable from a two year old. By the end our time together, however, she was referring to me as 'camera' [probably from hearing 'look at the camera' over and over :)] and that melted me!

Little brother was just fine with sharing the spotlight. He was a snuggly, sleepy little guy just happy to be held and loved on. Toward the end of our time together we moved indoors for a few lifestyle newborn photos.

What a wonderful time capturing these new moments as a family of four!
